Process Dynamics is a technology development company, primarily in the petroleum refining industry, and has technologies for the hydroprocessing of fuels and the manufacture of lube base oils and waxes. Currently, our focus lies in developing technologies and process innovations that address specific needs and key industry issues of the petroleum refining industry; however, we are continuing to expand our technology base through research and development activities. Process Dynamics currently holds two U.S. patents, has two additional patents pending and has approximately 20 international patents in various stages of approval. Process Dynamics has its headquarters and research facilities in Fayetteville, AR which include its pilot plant and bench scale applications as well as its analytical testing lab. Pilot plant tests are conducted at the request of potential clients for design applications and additionally for in house studies. Process Dynamics' analytical testing lab supports pilot plant and research activities by providing the most common analyses requested by clients on each of its products. The facility is expect to continue its growth as demand for the technology increases. Process Dynamics' current situation is one of unique opportunities. As a provider of technology solutions targeted at key industry issues, our activites are often driven by significant global changes. Currently, our focus is on diesel hydrotreating. With the upcoming 2006 EPA deadline requiring on-road diesel to contain no more than 15 ppm sulfur, refiners are in need of a new solution to comply with these requirements. Our solution is IsoThermingSM, a commercially proven technology. In April 2003 the first IsoThermingSM unit was completed and was producing diesel containing less than the 15 ppm mandate. Using a feed consisting of 40% cracked stocks, the sulfur was reduced to 4 ppm in the product stream and nitrogen was below detection at less than 1 ppm. |
