In August 2007, DuPont acquired the rights to the IsoTherming® technology for fuels applications. Process Dynamics still retains the rights to IsoTherming® for lube and wax applications.

Process Dynamics, Inc. is based in Fayetteville, Arkansas and was founded in 1993, having developed a new solvent-based lube and wax extraction technology. In conjunction with its partners, Process Dynamics markets its clean fuel technology under the IsoTherming® name. IsoTherming® hydrotreating technology is applicable to diesel, LCO, cat feed, and mild hydrocracking. Process Dynamics' other hydrotreating technologies have application to wax and lube finishing for value added base oils and USP grade waxes and oils.
