Process Dynamics Solvent Based Dewaxing/Deoiling technology uses an equilibrium based procedure, rather than the traditional rate based crystallization method. Process Dynamics method is based on accurate thermodynamic models resulting in predictable behaviors. The procedure involves aromatic extraction, followed by the dewaxing/deoiling step which is accomplished through sequential addition of solvent and cosolvent. Sequential addition allows for the use of a more powerful cosolvent which allows a higher filtration temperature and higher filtration rates. |
